Pōwhiri - Term 1

What a powerful way to begin 2026! The year opened with one of our largest and most memorable pōwhiri yet, as we warmly welcomed our new tauira and kaiako to kura including a spirited teacher wero that set the tone for the year ahead.

With beautiful summer weather on our side, we gathered in our Whare Hakinakina. Our returning students led the pōwhiri with pride, mana, and deep respect, embracing their role as hosts and ensuring our manuhiri felt truly welcomed into our kura whānau.

We are honoured to have tauira and kaiako joining us from across the rohe, each bringing their own strengths and stories to enrich our learning community.

As we step into the year ahead, we are excited for the growth, achievement, and opportunities that await. A heartfelt thank you to our whānau who joined us on the day and who continue to uplift and support our tamariki and kaiako throughout their journey.
