I am born and bred from Putaruru and attended the very school  Oraka Heights that this kura currently now occupies so it feels so refreshing and uplifting to be back on the grounds that started my Education and journey to where I am today.

I am married and  a Mama of four children and proud Nanny of four grandsons, one of which attends the kura.

I have been a Registered Nurse for 18 years and have covered a wide variety of roles which include; Plunket, Tamariki Ora, Aged Care, Independent Nursing, B4 School Checks, Practice Nursing. I am currently working three days a week at a Marae Based Health Clinic and have taken on the role of School Based Nurse for two days a week here at Te Wharekura o Te Kaokaoroa o Pātetere.

I hold other positions within Nursing at a National Level  which I am very passionate about: Board of Directors of New Zealand Nurses Organisation, Chair of the College of Primary Health Care Nurses NZNO, a member of the General Practitioners Leadership Forum and Runanga Member for Toputanga Tapuhi Kaitiaki o Aotearoa,  all which helps me connected to  what is happening in health so that I am able to bring back and share to my rohe.

I look forward to engaging with the parents and Tamariki of the kura.

Operating Hours: Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Na Tracey Morgan
