Year 11 Outdoor Education Trip to Mitimiti.

Our tauira travelled to the Far North of Mitimiti with Matua Christy, Matua Gary, Matua Chey and Whaea Hera Te Kurapa where they are learning to fish and gather kaimoana following the maramataka. Matua Christy’s and Whaea Hera Te Kurapa’s relationship with Nore Martin has enabled our tauira to be guided by someone who has deep understanding of this type of Taiao fishing and gathering processes.
